Our client, a rapidly growing real estate development company in the Fraser Valley, are looking for an Assistant Controller.
Reporting to the Controller, the Assistant Controller will be responsible for leading and managing a team of accountants. Responsibilities include monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial reporting, bank reconciliations, forecasting, budgeting, financial analysis and other duties as assigned. The Assistant Controller job will be responsible for supporting the team with process improvements and providing timely and accurate generation of reports.
As an ideal candidate you will have at least five years full-cycle experience in accounting and an accounting designation (CA, CGA, CMA, CPA). You must be able to work in a team environment, be well organised, detail oriented, enthusiastic and confident.
