We are looking for someone to manage the catering and sales operations and grow the business.  While we have many weddings and family events, our business clientele is mostly repeat business and there is a ton of opportunity to grow this client base.  This is a fun group of dedicated people offering excellent service and food to accommodate up to 500 people.

Catering and Sales Operations:

  • Manage the catering team by attracting, recruiting, training, and appraising talent
  • Manage customer and supplier relationships through a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system
  • Ensure all staff and management adhere to the high level standards for all client interaction
  • Negotiate, coordinate, and manage sales for the business of the company
  • Confirm all customers have the appropriately approved liquor license for the designated event when applicable
  • Administer semi-annual performance reviews to evaluate performance, set expectations, and developmental goals with all direct reports
  • Schedule staff appropriately for each function to maintain established service standards and a high level of customer satisfaction within budget
  • Manage the food and beverage inventories in co-ordination with the Executive Chef to obtain budgeted food cost goals
  • Maximize the food and beverage sales by identifying and targeting opportunities
  • Identify customer needs and proactively respond to any concerns
  • Ensure staff comply with all health and safety standards
  • Communicate and co-ordinate event specifications with direct reports and kitchen staff accordingly
  • Communicate and build strong relationships with vendors and customers
  • Contribute to and continuously make necessary improvements on the overall presentation of the food and beverage services, including menu design and catering smallwares
