Sales Manager – Industrial Service

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Responsible for generating revenue by developing and executing the Sales & Marketing plan in order to achieve or exceed budgeted revenue goals. · Develop and implement an effective sales strategy working closely with the District Management team. · Help to develop, communicate and effectively manage the price increase strategies including meeting/exceeding budgeted price increase goals. · Ensure internal revenue growth and maintain profitability on both new and existing accounts. · Manage the identification, qualification and ranking of prospects and the assignment of selling and retention responsibilities. · Meet with customer executives to ensure client needs are met and expectations are exceeded. . · Supervise activities of the Sales team and ensure that Sales Representatives meet or exceed sales goals. . Lead, train, monitor and motivate the sales team. Train and develop sales team for future advancement. · Analyze lost business trends and develop and implement corrective actions. · Monitor, track and report all sales activity. Accurately forecast monthly, quarterly and annual revenue streams. · Maintain awareness of competition and trends affecting the industry. · Establish a culture within the sales team that supports over achievement and success in meeting and exceeding sales goals. · Maintain visibility in professional associations.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: (Education, certification & experience that are essential to success in the position.)
· College degree in business, marketing, public relations, communications or a related field strongly preferred. · Minimum of 5 years of related progressive experience working in sales, transportation or service related field required. · At least 3 years supervisory or management level experience necessary. · Proficiency in sales & marketing principles and techniques. · Demonstrated ability to identify and resolve complex problems and present cost-effective solutions. . Demonstrate leadership and team-building skills. · Proficient in use of computer related programs. · Demonstrated knowledge of financial systems and tools.
Base: $90-100K, CA, commission, est TI $120-140K, benefits
